Steven wrote "Foster Avenue Beach" while he was in high school. This is the 'rock band' version with his former band, Stoplight Jones.
Starting in his teens, Steven spent many a summer day with his friends and thousands of other beach goers at one of Chicago's most popular beaches, Foster Avenue Beach, in Chicago's Edgewater neighborhood.
In this version, Steven's former rock-pop band, Stoplight Jones is performing the song at Reggies Rock Club in Chicago in Feb 2012. Steven is on vocals and keys, Brady Lavin on guitar, Josh Davis on electric bass and Carter Stirtz is on drums.

Steven Solomon plays along with the DJ Brian Jerger, jamming down some Salsa live with the dance music on his new Roland Lucina Synthesizer AX-09 Keytar at the end of the evening at the Chicago Uptown Lions 90th Club Anniversary Dinner Dance.
Steven also makes good use of his keytar in most of his performance, playing it as a bass and other sounds. Playing the piano with one hand and the keytar with the other, Steven can 'accompany' himself :) |
